Commissioning a scan
A commissioned scan is a facilitated engagement run by Rowena Morrow through Prospective Services: your situation, taken through the seven movements, delivered back in the register that fits: a full scan document, or an executive summary.
The two registers of deliverable
A full scan is the complete working document: every movement written out, the tensions named and held, the reframe, and a full bibliography. It suits a leadership group that will work with the material directly.
An executive summary compresses the same work into a short, client-facing document: the paradox, what the scan reveals, the core tensions, the reframe, and what is at stake. It suits briefing a board or a wider group.
Neither contains recommendations. What you receive is a clear account of your situation, including:
- tensions that may need to be held as a ground for your own deciding
- what is visible
- what may be ignored
- what may be at stake
Before a scan is agreed
Every engagement starts with an appropriateness check. A scan runs only where the decision is open, participation is real, and it is safe to speak plainly. The conditions where it should not be used are named plainly, and declining an engagement that doesn't fit them is part of the practice.
